How to Stop Procrastination in 5 Simple Steps

"The person who makes a success of living is the one who see his goal steadily and aims for it unswervingly. That is dedication." Cecil B. DeMille(1881 - 1959) 3.) Making Several Lists Instead of making one long list with 20 or more things that need to be done, you need to do make several but small and achievable lists comprising of about 5 activities/things to do on them. Organizing your duties using this method will help you complete your duties more easily; giving you a sense of accomplishment. You should not let anything or anyone stand in your way of having accomplishments in your life. 4.) Low Self-Esteem or Lack of Motivation Low self-esteem can keep you from finishing the simplest of jobs and here is why: You either do not think you can do the task, or you might feel you do not know enough to finish that particular task. In order to overcome low self esteem you may start by motivating yourself. You can do that by beginning with the easiest job, and slowly work your way through to total completion of the project. Each time you finish a given task, it goes a great way into building your confidence, and you will feel more motivated and certain about what you can accomplish. That also acts as an encouragement for you not to avoid your next job that you want to tackle. 5.) Take the Pressure Off The following analogy might help you. When you want to save time and money on your next shopping, then you will need to make a list of what is needed right? With every product you put in the cart, you check or mark it off your list and always remember to remove any unwanted items not in the list, right? Otherwise your cart will end up being way too full of unwanted items, forget other stuff and most likely end up hurting your bottom line - your pocket/money. If you use the same procedure with your other duties you have in your daily life you will take the pressure off of you, and your burden will be lifted. The key here is to not load your mind with jobs that can't be handled. Take it slowly, sticking with the right pace that you are able to handle comfortably
